History
New Image's roots began in 1964 with our parent company, First Lady, which was originally established by Kae and Leslie Martin as a Canadian hair replacement center. By 1969, First Lady was Canada's largest men's and ladies' hair replacement retailer, operating a chain of store locations, and with factory operations in Canada, Italy and Korea. With its emphasis on customer satisfaction, the company has always demanded expert design and quality-based manufacturing, successfully building its reputation for the highest value products within the industry. Randy Martin, son, spent much of his early years with the company traveling across Canada, training salon technicians and salespeople in effectively marketing hair replacement solutions to their customers.
New Image itself was formed in the United States during 1981, opening its Old Bridge, NJ distribution center in 1984. Randy, as president of New Image, moved the U.S. office in 1986 to a location in West Palm Beach, FL where it still operates today. Randy was instrumental in developing many breakthrough technologies and other advances within the hair replacement industry during the next thirteen years. His legacy at New Image lives on through its management and staff, who embrace his corporate mindset, "Simply the Best". Our continued successes include new and versatile hair replacement effects, hair extensions and accessory products, as well as services that including New Image University (professional training) and Web Order Central (a high-function, web-based, customer service solution).
